For over 70 years, our workers have created relationships and environments of grace where people who are near or far from God feel welcome. On a continent now considered post-Christian, the people of GEM strive to be a light through transformative disciple-making relationships.
We believe are the key to changing Europe
Through discipleship, we are able to reach those that are far from God.
Through discipleship, we can empower those to share the love to Jesus to neighbours and friends.
Through discipleship, we develop disciples that will go to their town or throughout Europe on mission with GEM.
The practice of discipleship is not constrained to one process or system. We believe that Jesus is already at work in the lives of everyone we meet, wooing them to Himself – we just need to be intentional and ready to play our part.

We enter intentional, caring, Christ focused relationships with people to help them trust and follow Jesus.
Biblical Education
Equipping, developing, and discipling students and church leaders through teaching and learning.
Refugee Ministries
Serving people who have been displaced or even forced to leave their homes, caring for refugees is a vital “hands and feet of Jesus” ministry.
Justice Ministries
Reaching out with the loving care of Jesus and serving victims of many forms of exploitation.
Campus Ministry
This is presence with a purpose: developing caring relationships with students and staff on college and university campuses, strategically sharing the truth and the love of Jesus.
Sports Ministry
Engaging athletes, coaches and families through sports, sharing the Gospel and pursuing discipling relationships.
Business as Mission
Using business to meet some need of a given community while facilitating Kingdom conversations that create opportunities for outreach and discipleship.
Workplace Ministry
Intentionally engaging and encouraging people in the workplace mission field.
Camp Ministry
Providing fun, healthy environments for outreach or spiritual renewal.
Children and Youth
Spiritually nourishing children and youth in faith formation, discipling the next generation to be faithful witnesses for Jesus.

How we work
Sending Workers
For over 70 years, GEM has sent workers to and across Europe to share the Good News of Jesus. This means sending workers from other parts of the globe as well as sending Europeans to and throughout Europe. We believe God has called locals and catalytic outsiders to go, and share His love so that all may hear.
Equipping Workers
GEM is passionate about building Kingdom relationships wherever we find them. We tap into different parts of Christ’s Body by working with partners to tell people of Christ, train them to be disciples, raise up leaders, and support Kingdom-building work in a variety of ways.
Partnering with Locals
God is already at work across Europe which means GEM isn't pursuing ministry endeavours alone. Rather, we're seeking to come alongside and support local ministries already at work.

Our beliefs
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory.
We believe regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of lost and sinful human beings; salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved will be raised to eternal life with God and the lost will be raised to face judgment and eternal condemnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
